EVOLVING WORLD OF BEAUTY AND SCIENCE

In 2018, the initial baby boom generation reached 65 years of age. Now for the next 18 years, the boomers will be turning 65 at a rate of about 8,000 a day. With these numbers the health and wellness communities (medical and cosmetic) have transformed our society relates to the aging process. This group has once again redefined methods and standards, by population, in occupying 21.16 of the population shares. (Reference: AARP). This group gave the meaning to “Age Is Just a Number”.

MicroAesthetics has gone to great lengths to differentiate its paramedical cosmetic laser program from other laser courses across the United States. We intentionally developed our curriculum from a clinical/medical aesthetics point of view. We have collaborated with those who share a background in cosmetic laser such as physicians, aestheticians, nurses, and certified laser technicians. This combined knowledge educates the Laser Intern Clinician on the proper treatments and protocols for the beauty of the skin with minimal trauma. Our education focuses on the relationship between the skin’s physiology, disorders and laser light. Understanding the skin and its functions is an important segment of each class. It is clearly understood that in order to provide effective treatments for facial rejuvenation, laser hair removal, scarring, acne, or hyperpigmentation, one must understand the largest organ of the body; the skin, prior to any laser, IPL or radio frequency application.
