RF-6000 - Radio Frequency & Anti-Aging

Radio Frequency (RF) therapy is not new to the anti-aging game. It has been in use since 2001 to combat against sagging skin and signs of aging. RF is referred to as a non-ablative and nonsurgical method of tightening the skin for skin rejuvenation. This treatment uses heat energy waves to heat the deep layer of the skin to facial lifting, body contouring and stimulates the production of collagen. Collagen is the skin’s protein that forms the matrix of the skin giving it the strength and turgor needed to fight gravity resulting in a firmer and tighter skin. The aging process depletes collagen in the skin, producing skin laxity and wrinkling. This is part of the natural aging process which generally starts around the age of 35 to 40 when the quantity and quality of your collagen begins to decline.

This course is a comprehensive practical 24-hour theory and hands-on
laser course for the instruction and application of radio frequency therapy
for skin rejuvenation and skin tightening for face and body. The class
utilizes radio frequency device for all skin types and tones. A minimum of
10 hands-on practical applications are performed on live models under the
direction of a certified laser instructor. 

Prerequisite-40 Hour Didactic Certification and hair reduction. 

*Contrary to popular belief, Radio Frequency is governed by the Arizona Department of Health Service, (ADHS) and FDA which governs the use of Radio Frequency Class 1 devices for cosmetic use.

By the end of this course, Laser Intern Clinician will have a clear understanding of the following:

• Theory of aging skin and collagen production
• Radio Frequency physics and technology, safety and device settings for face and body
• Proper client selection, skin typing, consultation, photographing and charting
• Indications and contraindications of RF
• Face and body treatments, pre and post treatments for RF
• Radio Frequency Microneedling
