Laser hair reduction is one of the most popular cosmetic laser services offered in the US today. It is a clinical procedure which utilizes a laser or IPL device with an energy intensity that creates a beam of light for the reduction/removal of unwanted facial and body hair. The beam of light penetrates the layers of skin to reach the individual stem cells of the hair follicle where hair pigment resides. The laser energy traumatizes the stem cells of the hair follicle and prevents future hair growth. Several laser hair reduction treatments are required to completely free the body of unwanted hair growth. Follow-up maintenance treatments may be needed in the future. Laser hair reduction is performed on all parts of the face and body.
This course is a comprehensive practical hands-on laser course for the instruction and application of laser hair reduction. The class entails 24 hours of theory in hair reduction utilizing laser and/or IPL for all skin types and tones. A minimum of 10 hands-on practical applications are performed on live models under the direction of a certified laser instructor.
Prerequisite-40 Hour Didactic Certification.

With over thirty-eight years as an aesthetics educator, Isabel took the aesthetics department out of the cosmetology hair school and gave it an industry of its own in Arizona. In 1997 she opened the very first school licensed by the Arizona State Board of Cosmetology, National Aesthetics Institute-Scottsdale. This opened a whole new industry for the state and set the standards for aesthetics education.
